Short But Sweet

Do goldfish make mixtapes? I'm positive they do and this here is what they would sound like. A compact collection of tasty treats that are short and sweet and good enough to eat. With only one track rocking in over four minutes you can leave your short term memory at the door but be sure you don't blink or you just might miss it.

Racing to pole position this time round is Darwin Deez and the super addictive ditty 'Radar Detector'. I have been obsessed by this song in the past month, so much so, that even before the fade-out begins I'm already reaching for the rewind. It's just such a playful, energetic, danceable tune that makes me want to wave my hair like a Wella Balsam ad while shaking my limbs to the hokey pokey. Admittedly, it almost got me in a bit of trouble on an overcrowded train recently as I rebelled against the limited space and had a little upright boogie... only to find that I was rhythmically tapping the crotch of the lady beside me with my ipod. We had a moment but it was brief and drenched in embarrassment and physical violation - it seems she catches a different train now.
